with a great 18 knot north easterly breeze Pedro and Robbs lined up in the mighty geralda to test out the reciently repaired rudder gudgeons. the boat has bot hit the water since ripping its rudder off in the final simrad 2 handed race 4 months ago.
the boat is back in action so the pair decided to have a go at the speed record again.
the best time achieved with pedro on the helm was 3 mins 51 seconds. a good 22 seconds slower than geraldas best time. (the flow of tide against the boat was blamed for the poor showing)
They will give it a crack again really soon! so keep posted
